O'Keeffe
House |
|
Located along Riverbank Drive, the house was originally
built from bush materials by the Officers of the Army
Engineers as a 'recreation hut' and later became the
Officers' Mess. After the War the building was owned and
occupied by a number of Katherine families and in the 60's
John and Olive O'Keefe purchased the building. The building
is open to visitors on weekdays from 1.30pm - 3.00pm (May -
September).
